Fields on display span intelligent connected new-energy vehicles, next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, embodied intelligence and biomanufacturing, alongside demonstrations of robots drumming and boxing.
As one of the convention's dedicated events, an ecosystem conference and equipment showcase for all-domain uncrewed systems opened on the afternoon of the 20th at Hefei's Luogang Park, presenting drones, driverless vehicles and uncrewed vessels together with the latest technologies, products and deployment solutions.
The Choice a City Made
Hefei was once classed as a mid-sized inland city before drawing in display and semiconductor plants, new-energy carmakers and quantum research institutes in succession, redrawing its industrial map. The pattern cited repeatedly is universities and institutes as the axis, with local government taking part in early-stage investment.
The exhibition's composition follows that logic. Components, materials and testing equipment occupy as much of the floor as finished goods, and more than 200 works of intangible cultural heritage are placed among them, overlaying a cultural show on a technology show.

Before drones and uncrewed vessels can operate commercially, airspace and sea lanes, communication frequencies and the allocation of liability all need settling. Between a demonstration hall and actual operation lies regulatory time. That the event foregrounds the word ecosystem reads as an intention to address operating systems rather than standalone devices.
