롄허바오(聯合報)는 바비가 '크고도 강하게' 발달해 폭풍 반경이 31년 만의 기록을 깼다고 9일 전했다. 중앙기상서는 이르면 이날 해상경보를 발령할 것으로 예보됐다고 자유시보(自由時報) 계열 타이베이타임스가 보도했다.

전국 농가는 '태풍과 달리기'에 나섰다. 수확기를 맞은 벼와 과수 산지를 중심으로 조기 수확과 시설 보강이 밤낮없이 이어지고 있다고 롄허바오는 전했다.

전날 확정된 방침에 따라 대입 분과측험은 다음 주 월·화요일로 미뤄졌고, 응시생 구제 방안도 함께 안내되고 있다.

화롄 슈린향에서는 심야에 규모 4.3의 지진이 발생해 방재 당국의 긴장을 더했다.

당국은 태풍 경로가 유동적인 만큼 최신 예보를 수시로 확인하고, 해안·산간 지역 접근을 삼가 달라고 당부했다.
